Kansas City's The Strand
The Strand is Kansas City’s oldest operating movie theater—since 1917, featuring adult entertainment since 1969. That’s over 40 years of great adult entertainment in one historic location. Today The Strand continues to show the hottest new adult films in our twin theaters and private video arcades. We also sell sexy lingerie, toys and novelty items in our store. Looking for an adult magazine? The Strand has a wide selection of magazines on all topics including LGBT and fetish mags.
It's easy to find The Strand. We are conveniently located at 3544 Troost Avenue, (Click here for a Google map) near the Country Club Plaza, Downtown and The Sprint Center. If you are visiting, stop by and say hi. We can tell you all about what's happening and where to go in KC. There is never a charge for parking and we are open from 10am until 11pm Sunday through Thursday and until 12 midnight Friday and Saturday.
Twin Adult Theatres: The Strand is one of the last places around where you can sit in a real theater, (We have two of them!) and watch the newest and best adult films. Films in the twin theaters run continuously every day from open to close. Looking for something a little more private?
